BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market.
In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold.
These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time.
The trader seemingly made huge gains.
Unusual.

@TomCaron Just when you think the tone deafness couldn’t get any worse since western teams have to fly east constantly, he somehow tops it by not knowing what state Sioux Falls is in. This is like the 4th guy to do it now too 😂

Providence College is located 114 miles from Quinnipiac University. The two teams will play in Sioux Falls, North Dakota - a mere 1,544 miles away.

John Deere, right to repair, and corporate control over farm equipment have become major flashpoints for American farmers trying to stay afloat. In this clip, Zach Lahn breaks down how repair restrictions, Big Ag consolidation, and rising pressure on family farms are reshaping the future of agriculture in America. The conversation explores why so many farmers feel like they no longer control what they own and what that means for the next generation. This is a hard look at John Deere, family farms, right to repair, and the growing war over America’s food supply.

@sizov_andre It was originally an IP program until other countries signed off, which the US has. We currently can’t grow it here because our major export customers have not approved it.
But we also have no GMO wheat in the US, so Ardent must either not care about GMO or have a good test.

US imports Argentine #wheat into Florida- a trade flow few thought possible.
The rumor we mentioned earlier for subscribers sizov.report/?utm_campaign=… has now been confirmed by one of Argentina’s leading newspapers, La Nacion: the U.S. is indeed importing Argentine wheat, reportedly with the involvement of #Cargill.
Argentina negotiated a 40K mt sale to the United States - historically an almost unthinkable destination. The cargo was reportedly sold by a consortium of exporters that included Cargill, which declined to comment.
The shipment is said to be heading to Ardent Mills in Tampa — a mill specifically designed to import wheat.
The driver is price. Argentine wheat at ~$210–220/t FOB, even after freight and tariff, competes with U.S. HRW trading around $280–287/t in Kansas.
Market participants stress this is not structural — just a price window. If spreads shift, it could remain a one-off cargo.
Still, the optics matter: Argentine wheat displacing HRW in the U.S. Southeast.

@sizov_andre It was originally supposed to be a domestic use program only, but I’ve heard that may not be the case anymore

@NPWheat I doubt it
Commercial production is negligible as I recall

Folks, put on your helmets and grab your BMX bikes, because it’s the most important holiday ever (at least for me): it’s the 40th anniversary of RAD! Starring Bill Allen, Lori Loughlin, and Bart Conner (@bartconner), and directed by the legendary stuntman-turned-director Hal Needham, this might just be my favorite movie. Seriously, I couldn’t get enough of RAD when I was a kid, and I may or may not still fantasize about dropping acting for a BMX career 😂
To celebrate, a newly remastered 4K cut is hitting theaters nationwide for two nights only, March 22 and 24. Plus, you’ll get a special sneak peek at the new documentary, “EFFORTLESS: The Eddie Fiola Story” (in which I also make an appearance!) Tickets are on sale now at the link below:

For the record: I am in no way affiliated, compensated, incentivized, bonused, gifted, or otherwise enriched by this. Just a genuine fan yelling into the internet.

Sather called Dave Semenko one off-season.
Slats was checking in to see if Dave was keeping up on fitness.
Semenko said sit ups, weights…good.
But said he was struggling with running.
Slats: "Uh oh. Knees aren't holding up?"
Semenko: "No - knees are good, but the wind keeps blowing my cigarette out."

North Dakotans will consider a measure for universal school lunch next year. Education is compulsory, and schools don’t charge fees for things like books and equipment. Why not pay for the lunches too?
