NEW: Influencer Khaby Lame signs a $975M deal, authorizes use of his personal brand, Face ID, voice ID, and behavioral models, enabling the creation of an AI-powered digital twin. Lame started posting on TikTok back in 2020 after being fired from his job. He now has over 350,000,000 followers across platforms. He signed an all-stock deal with 'Rich Sparkle Holdings' worth just shy of $1B. "[Lame] has also authorized the development of an AI-powered digital twin. A digital twin is a virtual replica of something real, whether it be a place, an object, or a person," Complex reported. "To create it, Lame will enable Rich Sparkle to copy his facial features, voice patterns, and behavior. This will allow the company to create multilingual content, or even virtual livestreams with the streamer's digital doppelganger." Rich Sparkle predicts the deal could generate over $4B in annual sales. Insane.

@inkfycreates JRPGs had it's time. People just playing different genre nowadays. Persona will always be a niche compared to FF. If JP wants JRPGs back they need to change the formula having content like some good western RPGs. Back then Tales was rivaling FF nowadays they're niche.

This is part of a continued and relentless campaign to normalize the abnormal and to promote people who do not represent gamers and gaming culture. We recognize these things and will highlight them as a problem of an ideology and way of thinking that seeks to subvert normalcy. This needs correcting in culture, beyond just gaming.

@mahirusoldier JP are the most molded industry ever. Once you hear one VA mold you hear them all. They have certain stereotype of delivering a voice. Overseas VA is more versatile. Tho i do agree JP industry treats VA like celebrity compared to west as gigs even JP EN VA in games.
