His actions were inappropriate and unnecessary for his safety. He assaulted her, illegal and inappropriate regardless of how annoying her actions. It was not self defense.

I have a question for you and this may answer that question. Was she supposed to be standing on the table and violating someone else’s space that seemed already bothered by the disruption in the class? I’m not saying what he did was right but in a court of law you need to have what’s called “clean hands”. She didn’t have clean hands.

@cherokeeowl They should have grabbed the bag . checki is normal procedure at Costco. They do a check on everything. If that is part of the normal procedure ,you either accept or shop elsewhere.
