I can’t even gather enough screenshots to corroborate my point about how many times I’ve seen, especially on IG, people post about the utterly dreadful, draining experience with constant hustling and grinding, only for some fuckmunter to comment “suck it up/boohoo/weakling” or any ad hominem BS that could easily be applied to their own useful idiot slave mentality of never having balance in any area of life. Personal, interpersonal/social, financial. It’s fucking unreal how cooked people’s minds are.
It even happened to me when I took a 2-week break off work recently. IMMEDIATELY some 40-somethings asked if I’m going on vacation or getting married and when I told them I’m just taking me time to unwind, their faces dropped like I’d just run over their pet. The inability for us to take a proper, lengthy pause is genuinely so dehumanising and fucking vile.

You’d be alarmed at how many people would entirely agree with this had it been any other platform. Some people will get a bit of money and genuinely begin thinking they’re above anyone else. Hustle culture and “productivity” are exactly what breeds fatigue with life. It’s insane to me that you’re given a choice in how you handle such fatigue, and some straight up embrace it and keep slaving away for no real cause other than a huge bank balance and maybe some dwindling milestones that get harder for all of us to achieve every day…
I feel like the fear of judgment, fear of wasting time, fear of lost money, fear of getting into volatile online discourse, all of it plagues these people to an almost crippling degree.
They refuse to find their niches or feel joy in them because they’re told it’s gonna be a personal failure if they’re not undergoing the brutal and drawn out metamorphosis into a cog in a machine that doesn’t even want them in it.
But I guess constant work ties in to their “looks” in the eyes of normie society and whatever peer pressure dictates they do.

Remember as an adult you can’t have fun. You can’t talk about nerdy things, work work work and grind and nothing else.

"power scaling" is such an inherently juvenile idea it's depressing to see grown adults talk about it

@Ouppy_Boy The fact this is even being considered a “culture” now makes me genuinely feel like a superior being to puritans
