get rid of the stupid naming conventions, just go with home and away if you have to have names scrap the the 'City' edition project. they produce 3 good looking jerseys a year out of 30, theres no need to focus on 'City' alternates with different colors and team names on them, while team branding/logos/uniform design continue to regress.. put the focus on whats seen day in and day out, 90% of recent rebrands have had largely negative receptions and criticism of minimalism grows and hurts the NBA more than any other league I'm definitely all for more throwbacks around the league tho, and that goes for more sports than basketball

Every team should have 4 rotational jerseys. Icon (primary color) Association (white) City (team choice) Throwback (team choice)

I think the NBA requiring a basketball in the logo for some reason hurts their logos just as much as, if not more than minimalism. you can make a simplified logo work, but the basketball feature either gets forced into the logo, or often leads to circular logos rather than something fun

Minimalism is such a stain on sports. There’s no space better suited for kooky maximalist fun design, but instead we’re slowly turning everything into a millennial targeted D2C olive oil brand (derogatory)

@fashion_nfl I like the browns one too, not sure why they took the stripes off in 2020. having stripes on the current ones would help made the brown helmet look better too

@NSCapparel My view has always been these were breaths of fresh air during times of primary low points. It's all relative.

@hkmett51 I'm pretty sure the lions from 2017-2023 had 3 different sets of grey pants 😂 the normal primaries, the pants fit the grey alternate i believe were a darker shade with no stripes, then the throwback pants were the same shade as the primaries with no stripes

The thing that bothers me about these is that they had to order a whole new set of pants for these because the gray of the jersey didn't match their silver pants. It it irks me. Like it's a small hue shift but you can tell and it annoys me.

It’s bugged for me a WHILE now how numbers on most college basketball jerseys have looked worse over the years They look smaller and are placed too high, they don’t seem to fill out the jersey as well anymore You can see the difference between the college ones & the NBA ones

@ZachCohenFB the stripes i actually like, they just don't work for the jets, if the Falcons did these stripes instead of the side ones, I think it'd look pretty solid

My hot take still remains that this Jets uniform closet was over-hated Perfect? Far from it… but not terrible imo

@haulinhundos the black mask was definitely rough, but i LOVE the green paintjob I'm a sucker for a good metallic helmet paintjob

One of the worst parts about that change were these AWFUL helmets. I’ll never forget how confused I was seeing this logo with the black face mask, putrid.

only on the Falcons part, I actually kinda liked the Lions greys. I think the biggest negative from those sets was the blues not having white numbers, accents could've been added to the stripes too putting those color schemes against each other works, the gradient unis were just atrocious 😂

I still think the Vikings’ current wardrobe is underrated and a much-needed evolution from their previous uniforms Tho I still wish Minnesota didn’t roll with a black facemask
