@CMAL_12@PrimeKaprizov Yes the structure we want for line 4 is what we currently have larger players, not great scorers , good shut down and pk guys. Line 3 also cheap Yurov Hartman and jojo type
Major money on top 6
Quinn Hughes will sign 5 years in Minnesota, potentially 6
It makes way too much sense to have all the boys locked up for the next 6 years and during that time adding pieces
Don’t be shocked to get, Brady, Matthew’s, long shot but McDavid, and possible Jack in that time line
@CMAL_12@PrimeKaprizov They will have 60 million in cap space the yr after next any contract extension wouldn't kick in until then they can afford one more stud and Hughes.
For 11 years, Stephen Colbert has brought humor and heart to late-night television. It was a privilege to join him on that stage. Thank you, Stephen, and wishing you all the best in your next chapter.
My friend Gov. @gretchenwhitmer said it best — in the Midwest, we’re not afraid to work hard.
But if we want to make a better future for all Minnesotans, we have to train our workers on the technology of today and build on our culture of innovation.
Thank you to the Annunciation parents, students, and nearly 8,000 people who signed the petition to stand with lawmakers who are rightfully demanding action on gun violence in the Minnesota House.
After the report came out that the Minnesota Wild were willing to part with Jesper Wallstedt, it got me thinking, and I know the jokes will follow.
Why don’t the Edmonton Oilers reach out and ask what it would cost?
What in the world do they have to lose?
Brett Kulak wins it after Kaprizov can't connect with Boldy on a 2-on-1.
Wild blow 3-goal lead to lose a playoff game for first time ever and their season ends in humiliating fashion
@DwayneNHL Well thought out and written
I think makar has a ways to go.
Others in this area are real close to his equal, and his brutal/ cost Canada the gold game will stain his career for awhile.
Hockey fans need to learn the difference between a franchise player and generational player.
Generational are once in 10 years best in the game type players...
Crosby
Mcdavid
Ovechkin
Mario
Gretzky
Jagr
Orr
Lindstrom
Hasek
Roy
Franchise players are elite elite but not quite the best of their era..
Joe Sakic
Sundin
Lafontaine
Mogilny
Mackinnon
Adam oats
Brett Hull
Pierre Turgeon
Curtis Joseph
Carey Price
Matthews
Draisaitl
Kucherov
Eichle
Quinn Hughes
Then you have players that will trigger debates..
Lindros was going to be generational but injuries killed that.
Forsberg.. considered by many the best swede to ever lace em up, another injury plagued career but i'd argue for him being close.
Cale Makar could end up being Generational when it's all said and done, he's on that path at the moment.
Ray bourque. Paul Coffee likely could be called generational as they were the best of the best in the 80's on D.
I just don't like to give our generational easily.. There should be 1-2 forwards, 1-2 Dmen and 1-2 goalies per generation that get that type of tag. the clear best of the best for that position.
@MinorMidgetGTHL you said something that made me think of this post so i made it. Give me your take on it all when you're bored.
@RussoHockey@nytimes Well written. Facts for the series so far. Boldy has disappeared. Needs another top 6 on his line to shine. Middleton is arguably not NHL caliber dman and Johansson is a euro pussy , rewatch their gwg and watch him. Hope he declines his game check because he was awful
