1. Yes. I've always been upfront about who he is because I'm not a liar. I don't agree with all his conclusions. He's a liberal. Gall's citation is just to the wrong book (The Folk Soul of Germany), which is unfortunate, but the claim itself exists and appears in another writing of hers called "Redemption from Jesus Christ". Just because he made a mistake and didn't cite the right book doesn't mean his claim is wrong, or the entire body of research is wrong. Gall just needs to revise his book. 🔻2. To the claim itself: Karl is trying to rehabilitate Ludendorff a bit because he's not a Christian, but his assertion that this is a propaganda book is confusing because it comes from her own writings, and the direct quote proves Gall's assertion that the National Socialist distanced themselves from neo-pagan whack jobs like yourself. 📕Did you know that Goebbels "Diary" isn't really a diary at all? Did you know Goebbel's didn't even write a large portion of it? And that when the IFZ published it they created a fictional chronological "diary" structure? Did you know Francois Genoud, the same man that falsely presented Table Talks as "Hitlers verbatim thoughts", was also involved in it's publication? Did you know that Elke Frohlich's presentation of the information was also so deeply flawed that the first edition in 1987 was effectively rejected and withdrawn because of poor editing. The Bundesarchiv refused to continue collaborating with the IFZ on the project due to it's mishandling. The "Diary" is also presented in a way that is misleading and below professional standards, which is perfect for misusing isolated quotes... on say.. Christianity? The IFZ has not addressed scholarly criticisms surrounding the "Diary" yet many quote Frohlich's 30 year old contextualization as some authentic resource on the thoughts of Hitler. You're using it as a source and obviously haven't read it. 2. What Carrier thinks about Jesus isn't important. We're not arguing about Carrier's thoughts on Jesus. Misdirection. 3. 1. Elke Frohlich is a jew, and she's the only person who has had access to the Goebbels diary in the last 30 years. This is just her interpretation that we don't even know is translated properly. 2. Her husband was a severely anti-NS ideologue and also a jew who worked for the CIA 3. After 1941 Goebbels didn't even write his Diary himself, it was dictated and written by two other men. 4. Carrier said that Historians no longer trust Goebbels diary. 5. There has been extended research that shows it was tampered with by the Soviets and others. 6. These are not the Verbatim words of Hitler, even if it happens to be a memory of Goebbels transmitted through other people and tampered with by Soviets who hated him. Not a serious argument. 1. You're trying to argue that Gall's book is somehow forfeit because he makes the claim that Hitler's views on the OT aren't compatible with Christianity. This is a text book straw man fallacy combined with quote mining. 2. That's not what the cited page says at all. Gall is describing Hitler's unorthodox conception of Christianity using Goebbels, which included rejecting the Jewishness of Jesus and wanting to remove the Old Testament. Gall then immediately questions whether those ideas were genuinely Christian, which you ignore. He's literally asking the question, "How genuinely Christian are these views?" It's a straw man because you're attacking a fake version of Gall's position and avoiding engaging Gall's actual arguments, so your position is lacking in any serious legitimacy. 3. Finally I posted hard proof that Hitler took political action against a high ranking Nazi official in his party who believed the "Old Testament was jewish" to show that Gall didn't encompass all the research, and Goebbels diary just isn't good enough to prove Hitler rejected the Old Testament. There are plenty of verbatim and real life actions that contradicts a corrupt diary. The Idea that Hitler just said things for power is an outdated and archaic way to view history. Hitler was his ideology. He spent 10 years fighting for the party plan which was based on Christianity, and it carried all through his life until the end. Why would he help create a more fundamentalist form of Christianity and declare that the NS were the True Christians to gain political power? It would be smarter to just take the middle road or not mention it at all. He also threatened to quit the party if anyone changed the Christian 25 point plan while was in Jail. You have a boomer's understanding of history.

Hitler Hated Christ or @not_our_guy is trying to put forth the argument that Gall's serious and critical examination of Religion in the Third Reich is somehow forfeit by misrepresenting his thesis in this chapter. I can't tell if he just didn't read the book, or he's willfully lying. At any rate, it's a cheap straw-man. This is exactly what he did with the research on Table Talks that is in Hitler Redux, that he passed off to Keith Woods. This is why he isn't worth debating, and why jews in general aren't worth debating. They always come from a position of falsehood, and attempt argue their falsehood to hide from the real debate. I also pointed out that Gall's source for Hitler's "rejection of the Old Testament" is only Goebbels diary, which isn't a verbatim source and countered it with a concrete example in Hitler's political career that contradicts this position. Even still, I'm not so dishonest to argue the entire book is wrong because he used a weak source for that one statement.
