I'm going to take some time to rest. I'm thinking of finding a Japan-based role. The time zone differences with the EU and the US were always a challenge while at Deno. I also miss working in a real office after being fully remote for over five years!

My maybe-unpopular opinion is that there is no benefit to being honest and adopting animals in “authorized houses” in Japan (1) you pay 100k-200k more in move-in fees (2) the documents and information required is insane (3) they scheduled a “hearing” to ask about my cat??
