@NTFCjonny This squad would be mid table L2 most likely. Either way, we’re simply still going to be better and closer to other teams than we have been this year it’s not that difficult of a concept imo.

@Elliot_2008 Think you’re seriously underestimating the quality of league of 2 there, if you was to put this whole squad in league 2 as it is I genuinely think we would be in a similar relegation battle so nothing is guaranteed.

@NTFCjonny Even If we play the same style, we’re in a league against worst opposition, so we’ll be creating more chances. More chances = more shots = more goals… For a side that lacks as much creativity as we all say, double digits for the season is very good.

@Elliot_2008 Yeah better goal scoring ratio, not necessarily the best finisher though. What makes you think he’s going to get more chances in league 2? The only way he’s going to score more is the manager bringing a different style which helps his game.

@NTFCjonny 8 goals in 16 starts categorically makes him a better goal scorer than everyone else in the side. That’s fact, not an opinion. He’s only going to score more when we drop down a league and create more chances for him. You’re mental if you don’t agree with that.

@Elliot_2008 Not even the best finisher we’ve had this season… A serious change in style will be needed if he’s our number 9 next season, doesn’t suit the direct style one bit, can’t hold the ball up, isn’t a threat running in behind. Really not sure what you’re seeing in him

@NTFCjonny Top scorer for us this season with 8 in 16 starts. Best finisher and header of the ball we’ve had here in a long time and I’d like to see anyone disagree. Not sure how that’s not aiming high when we’re going to be dropping a league so his goals will only go up…

He got us up a year earlier than we probably should have given that squad (on paper) was nowhere near top end L2 and the tragedy with his daughter that happened that season

I’m interested to see how Jon does next season as I would imagine we will have a sizeable budget for league 2. We are much better to watch under him than we were from September - December

@AlexManning14 @TheValiants1876 Yeah I can’t see us putting much money in if I’m honest. Talks of Ryan Lowe but that doesn’t fill me with huge confidence either. That’s what I really loved about Brady, he knew how to get the best out of players

@AlexManning14 @TheValiants1876 Darren Moore is on the list of candidates that could take over for us, his football must’ve been pretty decent based on that? Yeah this is our 3rd season in league one, looks like 3rd time unlucky. Burton always seems to find a way of getting themselves safe

I thought you’d get out of it tbh, seems like you and Burton always find a way to stay up against what the bookies odds are
