Given that every single retail investor does NOT buy $TSLA (only about $609m in retail TSLA buys in the last 5 days), Elon DESTROYS the order book by selling. BAD short term. GREAT long term.

Let's put into perspective the MAGNITUDE of @elonmusk selling $3.5b of $TSLA. In total: Retail investors have bought ~$1b of stocks on average per day (last few weeks/VandaTrack report). If EVERY retail investor ONLY bought $TSLA, it would take 3.5 days to balance Elon's sale.

Just a reminder that Elon was also SpaceX CEO during the Model 3 ramp in 2018. He spent much of that time sleeping at the Fremont factory, away from SpaceX. Great people like @Gwynne_Shotwell continue running the show. Allowing people to step up at the right time is good.

Then there's Ford, which is well ahead of Tesla in an actual working truck. The industry is already ahead of Elon. No other EV has the reliability and quality issues.
