6:58am. Good morning. Driveways and parking lots in Bella Vista are a bit slippery, but main roads have been well sanded it seems. Hwy 71 isn't bad, but definitely take it easy especially on the overpasses and bridges. Its driveable, but not necessarily at normal speeds. #arwx

5:34pm Snow has stopped in Bella Vista. Trace accumulation, roads appear fine, but wet so slick spots are possible. #arwx

@5NEWSGarrett Think NWA forgot what it was like to have real snow? Well it has been a few years. Winter of 2013-2014 wasn't it?

Winter tornadoes are not common in E #OKwx and W #ARwx, but they can happen. On this date in 1975, tornadoes struck Tulsa and elsewhere in eastern OK. FYI, snow fell on Christmas Day that same year!

E #OKwx, NW #ARwx has not seen much snow the past couple of years, but some notable snow storms occurred not all that long ago. Here's what CAN happen here. #WinterPrep
