Here at NWLSSP, we have used our legacy grant to run scooter training for school staff at four schools within the partnership so staff can feel confident delivering scooter sessions at their schools @CHYMLeics @WhitwickPrimary @OakthorpeSchool @WarrenHillsCPS @Ellistownprim

🏀On 27th January 2026 we held our very first Girls Development Basketball competition at Ivanhoe School. We had 54 girls over 8 teams enter from 8 schools. A vast majority of whom, accessed a new opportunity for the first time. Well done to all who came along 🏀

Yesterday afternoon, supported by Damon from @ridersbf, our Y5/6 basketball team played a tournament against other schools at Castle Rock as part of the @NWLSSP. They palyed really well and showed fantastic sportsmanship! Well done, everyone!

Yesterday our KS2 Boccia events that took place at Forest Way & @ivanhoe_school. We had 15 teams from 10 schools across the two events.Well done to the winners;Holy Cross,Warren Hills,Ibstock Juniors Winners of the area final will go on to represent NWL at the county finals.

Happy New year! We hope you all had a wonderful break. This half term we have some great events coming up: Boccia, Basketball, Archery, Handball and Gymnastics. We hope you all have a great first week back.
