Freshers Week at @BangorBioZoo has kicked off 🎉 We're excited to meet some new volunteers and work to conserve our native amphibians and reptiles 🦎🐸🐍 @BangorHerps @BangorHerpSoc @BangorUni

We've had a few requests to reveal the specimens making up our representation of the transgender pride flag, so here's a little more info! As well as selecting specimens for colour matches, we tried to include objects from across different collections... #TransDayOfVisibility

#Adders out and about on Sunday! These males were observed warming up in the morning sun getting ready for breeding season! It is important to not disturb the adders at this time of year by keeping a respectful distance so they have the best chance of successfully mating
