There's a new Sheriff in town. Sheriff Edwin Raymond has dedicated his life to protecting the people of New York while bettering the institutions keeping us safe. He grew up in East Flatbush, the son of Haitian immigrants. He became an NYPD officer to build bridges between the force and the communities they serve, and to write a new legacy for the NYPD. His life's work has been fighting for truth, justice, and safety. I can think of no one better to serve as the Sheriff of the City of New York.

The NYC Sheriff’s Office conducted Scofflaw Enforcement around Amadeus Nightclub. A total of 15 vehicles were stopped for a total of $20,744.54 in outstanding judgments and fines. We will continue to do our part in keeping NYC streets safe. #nycsheriff #Queens #publicsafety

The Sheriff’s Joint Compliance Task Force assisted the NYPD 112 PCT and the Queens D.A Melinda Katz with the execution of a Search Warrant on Queens Blvd. The search led the team to a hidden storage room recovering 451.7 lbs of THC Cannabis products, 622.9 lbs. of Flavored Vape.

The NYC Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Unit, participated in a joint operation with @nyctaxi to conduct Safety Checks of unlicensed “dollar cab” vehicles in Queens. 21 vehicles were issued violations, 15 of these vehicles were towed, 6 were Scofflaw. #nycsheriff #ghostcar
