Ohio State’s Arvell Reese had dinner with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints this week in Columbus, and he also had a lengthy meeting with the New York Giants around his pro day workout.

Giants LB Micah McFadden contract incentives, per source: Max of $2M in playing time incentives. 35-39% snaps: $250K 40-49% snaps: $250K 50-59% snaps: $375K 60-69% snaps: $375K 70-74% snaps: $375K 75+% snaps: $375K My $.02: That's a really strong package for McFadden in a mutually beneficial prove-it deal. In his two seasons as a full-time starter, he played 61 and 65 percent of the snaps. So if he reclaims that role, he's looking at an extra $875K-$1.25M on top of his $3.75M base. Even if the Giants draft a LB and he's LB3, he could hit the low end of these incentives if there's an injury. For the Giants, all of these incentives qualify as Not Likely To Be Earned since he barely played last season so they won't count on the 2026 cap.

The Giants are signing long snapper Zach Triner, per source. Triner was the Bucs' long snapper from 2019-24. Bounced around quite a bit in the past year and a half since losing the Bucs job.

#Giants are signing former #Jets and #Chiefs linebacker Cam Jones to one-year contract, per a league source. Earned a Super Bowl ring with Chiefs as a rookie, appearing in every game for his two seasons in Kansas City. At age 26, still a lot of upside there for former @IndianaFootball standout. Represented by Randy Fisher @RandyMFisher of @ASCEND_FB @KPRC2

Veteran DL Shelby Harris is visiting the #Giants today, sources say. The 11-year veteran, still going strong after playing all 17 games for the #Browns last season, is an option for John Harbaugh & Co. to add experience up front on defense.

Giants S Elijah Campbell contract details, per source: 1 year, $1.4M with $50K guaranteed. It's a VSB contract, so the cap hit is $1.26M. Comparing this to the other safeties signed this offseason: • Ar'Darius Washington: 1 year, $3M with $1.5M guaranteed. • Jason Pinnock: 1 year, $1.4M with $200K guaranteed. While they could keep five safeties, the contracts line up a competition between Campbell and Pinnock for the fourth safety spot.

Giants CB Greg Newsome contract incentives, per source: Max of $2M in playing time and team performance incentives. 60+% snaps + team wins more than 4 games: $300K 70-79% snaps: $300K 80-89% snaps: $400K 90+% snaps: $1M My $.02: Different structure than other incentive packages where Newsome's add onto each other rather than just maxing out at the highest threshold. So he could earn $2M if he hits all of these thresholds. If he's CB2, that's very possible.

Giants TE Isaiah Likely contract incentives, per source: Max of $2.4M per year in performance, playing time and team performance incentives. 60-69 catches: $250K 70-79 catches: $500K 80+ catches: $750K Max of $750K in receptions incentives. 650-749 yards: $250K 750-849 yards: $500K 850+ yards: $750K Max of $750K in receiving yards incentives. 6-7 TDs: $250K 8-9 TDs: $500K 10+ TDs: $750K Max of $750K in receiving TDs incentives. 60% of snaps + Giants make playoffs: $150K. My $.02: He hasn't come close to reaching any of these incentives previously except for TDs. That better change since they're paying him $13.3M/year. They didn't set these out of reach for a top receiving tight end.

Giants RB Devin Singletary's contract incentives, per source: Max of $1M in performance and playing time incentives. 1,100 total yards: $125K 1,200 total yards: $250K 1,300 total yards: $125K Max of $500K in total yards incentives. 56-65% snaps: $250K 66+% snaps: $250K Max of $500K in PT incentives. My $.02: This is essentially the same incentives package Singletary had in the three-year deal he signed in 2024 (they just bumped up 56-65% snaps from $125K to $250K and lowered 1,300 total yards from $250K to $125K). There probably isn't a more unattainable set of incentives in a Giants' contract.

Giants FB Patrick Ricard contract incentives, per source: Max of $450K per year in playing time incentives. 30-39% snaps: $250K 40+% snaps: $450K Max of $450K in PT incentives. My $.02: The Giants made these very attainable. They were able to have the thresholds this low and count as Not Likely To Be Earned (so they won't count against the 2026 cap) because Ricard missed six games last season — he played just 27% of the Ravens' snaps, but played 40% of the snaps when active. He played 39%, 39%, 63%, 44%, 39% of the snaps in the previous five seasons.

Got details on most of the incentives in contracts signed with the Giants during free agency, per source. Will share the notables I've obtained. WR Calvin Austin: Max of $3M in playing time and performance incentives. 45-49% snaps: $150K 50-54% snaps: $300K 55-59% snaps: $500K 60-69% snaps: $600K 70-79% snaps: $700K 80-89% snaps: $800K 90+% snaps: $1M Max of $1M in PT incentives. 35-44 catches: $150K 45-54 catches: $300K 55-64 catches: $500K 65-74 catches: $600K 75-94 catches: $700K 95-99 catches: $800K 100+ catches: $1M Max of $1M in receptions incentives. 400-499 yards: $150K 500-599 yards: $300K 600-699 yards: $500K 700-799 yards: $600K 800-899 yards: $700K 900-999 yards: $800K 1,000+ yards: $1M Max of $1M in receiving yards incentives. My $.02: Pretty low starting points gives him a chance to rack up $$ if he earns a featured role in the offense.
