If you had to guess, who has the best shot of being the Jalen Brunson of the NHL. 22-26 year old that is overlooked right now and has the potential to turn into a star.

@OhRyanMead It’s funny, the Knicks losing in the 3rd round to the pacers felt exactly like what the rangers losing to Florida did in 2024. It was honestly very likely in 2025 the rangers could’ve had a “fuck you” run the same way NYK did. If they didn’t quit on each other.

I say this knowing I'm an idiot. Does Brunson winning a championship as an undersized, creative playmaker force NYR to heavily consider taking Viggo Björck at 5th overall? I think this may be a real thing. NYK winning is going to change how NYR thinks, I'm convinced.

@86FuckedMyWife Lucas Raymond and Tim Stutzle are likely the most important players on their respective teams, Sanderson is a PP1 quarterback on his team, Cole Perfetti scored the latest tying goal in game 7 History. I mean at least those guys have lived up to the hype.

@citchmook on the same note Matt duchene himself scored a series winning OT goal in their own barn to eliminate the avs in 24, and was a large part in the series win against them the very next year in 25. may have made a choice that cost him a cup but also probably cost yall a dynasty.

Remember when Matt Duchene wanted out because he wanted to play playoff hockey then Colorado won the Stanley Cup a couple years after trading him and he still hasn't made a final at 35. All-time bad judgement call.

How the male brain works: My friend and coworker took PTO behind his wife’s back and spent 20 days pretending to go to work. He would wake up early, get dressed like he was heading to the office, grab the car, drive around the block and wait for his wife to leave for work and the kids to go to school before coming back home.

@Reidboy24 Bo4 being below mw2 and vanguard let alone bo6 and 7 is the dumbest thing I’ve even seen in my life, most underrated multiplayer around

@265Kilometres I mean, if they keep him on IR whatever. If they played Laine and it didn’t count against the cap hit, that’s where Tampa/Vegas comes in.

@itzKronuzz 1: Cold War 2: MW19 3: MW3 4: bo6 5: bo7 6: vanguard 7: mw2 CW multiplayer survived for years after its life cycle. Mw2019 and mw3 both similar in that way but mw3 bumped down due to being a direct sequel to mw2 and beginning the “70$ DLC” trend.

@reporterchris @IIHFHockey Imagine how quickly they would’ve overturned the ban if it was the USA that was banned and not Russia . Never would’ve stood for that that’s for sure, just let athletes represent their country as a seperate entity to the awful, heinous things the government does.

@torontobaghead Reminder that Mitch marner was both carjacked at gunpoint in Toronto and received death threats after losing in the playoffs so I don’t really wanna give the fanbase the benefit of the doubt he didn’t even NameDrop the leafs 💔

For the record: Mitch Marner’s darkest days in Toronto were playing golf at St. George’s in May while making 11 million bucks a year to not play in the playoffs. One day he refers to himself as a “god” and the next he says they were dark days. Funny how that works. #LeafsForever

@puckempire The gap between Kakko and Hughes was not as large as this. It was a coin flip between those two going down to draft day especially considering NJ already drafted Hischier #1 two years prior. That was close as it can really get. This is not that.

McKenna is still probably the #1 on Toronto's list, but man what a silly decision it was for him to opt out of Team Canada at the IIHF Worlds. Stenberg's stock has only risen from playing at the tournament, and the gap between Stenberg/McKenna is much smaller than JH/Kakko was.

@PeteBlackburn Bruins panthers is nowhere near the inexplicable stunning lightning vs CBJ series. The panthers were a tougher team than most give credit; literally only one year removed from a Presidents trophy. The last two pres trophy winning teams locked into a R1 matchup shouldn’t be 1.

#NYR had a true winner, Brett Howden, under their control. They decided to dump him and instead keep the Iranian and malcontent known as Mika Zibanejad- and for eight times the cash. Organizational failure. Mika should’ve been deported long ago but Howden isn’t complaining!

My car battery died in the grocery store parking lot yesterday and I was standing there googling “how to look like you know what you’re doing under a car hood” when one of the teenage employees came outside on break and asked if I needed help. I told him I was waiting for roadside assistance and he goes, “That could take forever, do you have jumper cables?” I said no. This kid disappears for like two minutes and comes back with his own cables from his car. Jumped my battery in under five minutes like he was in a NASCAR pit crew. But the part that got me?
