@MarcusHouse Or a launch pad in NZ where all the advanced rocketlab talent is.

I hear Australia is a nice place to launch from. 😃
SpaceX@SpaceX
It’s no secret that we intend to launch Starship a lot, targeting thousands of flights per year. That cadence will require the ability to launch from many different locations, so we are constantly exploring to find viable sites to expand Starship operations in the future, both domestically and internationally

@eevblog @linusgsebastian OMG, it's already in his backyard. The wife is going to be pissed.

Work with me here.
I could sell my 50sqm lab and maybe have enough left over to convert an A320 into a lab space twice the size of my current lab. Plus bonus storage space.
Got any tips @linusgsebastian ?

@perthguppy @eevblog It's just a matter of scale. Scaling from 1,000 people to 1,000,000 is less hard than the initial 1000 people. But yes that is an insane amount of launches from an insane amount of launch complexes. It's 100 people leaving per day for 28 years.

@eevblog It’s insane that both of these things should be equally as crazy, but hitting 7.5T cap in the next 5 years will probably happen, but 1M humans on mars ain’t happening in our lifetime times.

@straczynski You put them in a dish of water and animal fat. The nobs lift the hole up to the level where that fat is floating on the water. You can then lift it out and blow a bubble by blowing in the opposite side. Different hole sizes are for different bubble sizes.

I may have figured this out. The shape is perfect for carrying thread before spindles. One dodecahedron could carry a ton of thread in a very compact form and one bag could hold many colors, easily spooled out then tied off when done. The holes kept it from being too heavy.

Now the NBN is saying the Norwest business park outage won't be fixed until Wednesday night!
This is going to end up being a week with one of the biggest business parks in Sydney without NBN internet.
And Telstra mobile coverage has taken a big hit too.

@FilosofiaStoica Most likely it was just multiple people skimming money from like 5 different layers deep and the money to do it properly did exist at the first layer

This ma ordered a new fridge for $1000 from Lowe’s. When it was delivered, the delivery men accidentally dented the right stainless steel panel on the door.
The fridge still works great, but there are three unsightly dents. He reached out to Lowe’s and they took $500 off of the total price, so he ended up getting it for only $500.
Would you have taken that deal and saved $500 or would you have taken the fridge back and had the give you a new one that was not damaged?
