Mehdi Rasouli, Mohammadreza Miri, and Ebrahim Dolatabadi were executed today in Mashhad by a regime that continues to hold the Iranian people hostage. Arrested during the January 8–9 uprising, they were later sentenced to death in sham trials devoid of due process.
Without immediate and decisive international action, hundreds of other courageous Iranians remain at risk of execution, especially as the regime imposes internet shutdowns to silence the truth and conceal its actions.

Mr. @SecMullinDHS, as you step into your new position I ask you to provide particular consideration to the status of Iranian students and professionals in the United States who may be at risk of immigration complications due to Presidential Proclamations 10949 and 10998. Many of these individuals fled the Islamic Republic’s because they believe in freedom, democracy, and the values this country stands for. They are also contributing to the United States every day.
They arrived in this country legally, followed the rules, respect this country and its system of law and order and are among the most dedicated and accomplished contributors to American society. I ask that you and your department consider these factors, plus the personal and political risk many of these young people would face if sent back to the criminal regime in Iran.
America’s concerns for its national security and the threat posed by the Islamic regime to the homeland are entirely justified. To that end, my office stands ready to provide you and your colleagues with regime operatives, propaganda agents, and influence networks for investigation and removal from the United States.

در روزهای اخیر، چند گروه تجزیهطلب -که در کارنامه بعضی از آنها همکاری با خمینی و صدام، هر دو به چشم میخورد- ادعاهایی موهوم و سخیف را درباره تمامیت ارضی و یگانگی ملی ایران مطرح کردهاند. چنانکه بارها تأکید کردهام، حفظ و دفاع از تمامیت ارضی ایران، اصلی خدشهناپذیر است. ما بر سر یکپارچگی و تمامیت ارضی ایران نه با کسی مذاکره میکنیم و نه ذرهای از آن کوتاه میآییم.
چنین ادعاهایی تنها به جمهوری اسلامی، بزرگترین دشمن ملت ایران و تمامیت ارضی کشور، بهانه میدهد تا خود را به دروغ مدافع این اصل معرفی کند؛ حال آنکه این رژیم از نخستین روز روی کار آمدنش، عامل اصلی انواع تبعیض و تفرقه در ایران بوده است.
تمامیت ارضی ایران خط قرمز ملت بزرگ و متحد ماست. هر فرد یا گروهی که از این خط قرمز عبور کند، یا با عبورکنندگان از آن همکاری کند، با پاسخ قاطع ملت آگاه ایران روبهرو خواهد شد.
در روزها و هفتههای پیش رو، همزمان با درهمشکستن کامل جمهوری اسلامی و بیرون راندن این رژیم از کشور، در دفاع از یکپارچگی ملی و تمامیت ارضی ایران نیز هوشیارتر، استوارتر و کوشاتر از همیشه خواهیم بود. با پایبندی به این اصل بنیادین، میتوان انتظار داشت که ارتش ایران نیز به وظیفهی ملی-میهنی خود عمل کند، در کنار ملت بایستد و از ایران در برابر جمهوری اسلامی و تجزیهطلبان دفاع کند.
تنها در یک ایرانِ یکپارچه و دموکراتیک، در سایهی حاکمیت قانون است که آزادیهای فردی و حقوق برابر همه شهروندان، فارغ از باور، مذهب، زبان یا قومیت، تضمین میشود.

این باید آخرین باری باشد که ما به این وضع مبتلا میشویم. باید آخرین باری باشد که ایرانیان برای نجات از دست مشتی جانی و جلاد و دیوانه این میزان کشته میدهند و اینگونه مجبور میشوند به اینسو و آنسوی جهان دست یاری دراز کنند. نمیشود هر بار نسلی از راه برسد، رضاشاهی را برکشد، به هزار رنج و درد، ایران را از سیاهچالی خوفناک بیرون آورد، و وقتی آن رضاشاه رفت و آن نسل از گردونه خارج شد، نسل دیگری ظهور کند و تمام داشتههای این ملت را در پای خیرهسریها و دیوانگیهای ایدئولوژیک خویش بر باد دهد. ایران و ایرانی واقعاً این ظرفیت را ندارد که یکبار دیگر به چنین حضیضی دچار شود.
