If you're disgusted by this celebration of death from the extremist Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir (and you should be), please know that Pahlavi's top advisor, Saeed Ghasseminejad (until recently of FDD), called for post-revolution Iran to adopt the same execution law.

This is the cake that @itamarbengvir’s wife gave him for his birthday last night - a noose, celebrating the death penalty law his party pushed through the Knesset weeks ago. Another step in Israel’s moral decline - from valuing life to glorifying death. The sooner figures like Itamar Ben-Gvir are out of power, the sooner the country can begin to heal.

@kshahrooz My criticism is not of the death penalty. Actually I have long supported a death penalty (for Jewish and Arab murderers by the way unlike this narrow law). My problem is with the glorification of death. That is wrong and that is what this cake represents.

We all care for humanity. We all support people fighting for freedom. But what is happening to ordinary people in Iran right now is beyond the pale. It has been for many years. As we enter day 64 of the regime enforced internet blackout disturbing news has emerged of a father, Hessam Alaeddin, beaten to death simply for having an @elonmusk made Starlink terminal. Speaking an Iranian still inside Iran, writing this through Starlink while my hands are literally shaking with rage and grief. Sometimes, I can’t hold back the tears anymore. Look at this poster they’ve plastered on every street corner [first image]. The Islamic Republic’s latest public death threat: Starlink, satellite dishes, VPNs — all illegal. Use them and you will be punished to the maximum. Phones crossed out. Dishes crossed out. Even the word “Starlink” in blood-red letters. They are openly hunting us for daring to seek truth. And they just proved they mean it. This innocent Iranian father [second image] was using Starlink — just like me — to get real news for his family in the middle of the blackout and get the censored information out to the world. They arrested him. They tortured him. They beat him to death. A father. A husband. A man who only wanted to protect his children from the regime’s lies. I am using Starlink right now to write these words to you. Every single day the regime’s agents threaten me. Every single day I know I could be next. My heart is shattered. My soul is on fire. The fear is real and it never leaves. But I will not stop. My country is on the line. My people are on the line. 90 million Iranians are suffocating in this 47-year nightmare. We are living in hell — neither war nor peace, economic pressure crushing every family, their new Chinese-style tiered internet and “White Simcard” loyalty system deciding who is even allowed to see the outside world. And now they are literally killing people for trying to connect. We have endured massacres, rapes, executions, and grief for 47 years. We have buried our sons and daughters in the streets. We danced and cried with pure joy when you removed Khamenei because we finally saw hope. This father’s blood will not be in vain. اضافه کنم: هیچ اشکالی ندارد که آدم بهخاطر اطلاعات جدید یا قانع شدن از نادرست یا ناکامل بودن دیدگاههای قبلیاش، نظرش را تغییر بدهد.
مشکل از جایی شروع میشود که بعضیها با کمترین تأمل به یک نتیجه میرسند، اما آنقدر به همان نظر و نتیجه مطمئناند که میخواهند هر کسی را که متفاوت فکر میکند حذف کنند.
ذهنیت استبدادی همیشه خودش را برحق و داناتر میداند. در مقابل، ذهنیت دموکراتیکِ لیبرال به قطعیتِ خودش مشکوکتر است و آمادگی دارد که با استدلال و شواهد، نظرش را تغییر دهد.

سفر شاهزاده رضا پهلوی به برلین که هفته اول اردیبهشت، به منظور دیدار با چند چهره سیاسی و سخنرانی صورت گرفت، حاشیههایی به دنبال داشت.
در کنفرانس خبری که در پارلمان آلمان (بوندستاگ) برگزار شد، آقای پهلوی و بعضی از جوابهای او به خبرنگاران، توجه کاربران شبکههای اجتماعی را به گفتهها و مواضع پیشین او جلب کرد .
در این ویدیو بخشی از مواردی که کاربران به آن توجه کرده و در شبکههای اجتماعی به آن پرداختهاند مرور شده است.
برای دریافت پاسخ آقای پهلوی به انتقادهای مطرح شده، بیبیسی با دفتر او تماس گرفت اما پاسخی دریافت نکرده است.

هشدار بهار در این ویدئو من را یاد جملهی معروف جان اف. کندی انداخت (که، اگر اشتباه نکنم، برگرفته از یک ضربالمثل قدیمی چینی است): «کسانی که احمقانه برای به دست آوردن قدرت، سوارِ ببر میشوند، در نهایت سر از شکم آن در میآورند.»
بعضیها فکر میکنند میتوانند با پیوستنِ موقت به یک جنبش خطرناک و فاشیستی، رژیم را شکست دهند، خودشان به مقامی برسند، و دشمنان ایدئولوژیکشان را تحت فشار قرار دهند. فراموش میکنند که این جنبشِ خطرناک خیلی زود علیه خودشان برمیگردد. کافی است از برخی از هواداران سابق پهلوی که تصمیمات او یا تیمش را زیر سؤال بردهاند بپرسید.
تلاش کردند سوارِ ببر شوند.
در نهایت سر از شکم آن درآوردند.

آبان ۹۸، بعد از بازداشت حمید نوری در سوئد، ایرج مصداقی از «رضا پهلوی» طلبکار بود که «چرا سکوت کرده و بیانیه حمایت نمیدهد؟»
آن زمان هنوز از عنوان «شاهزاده» استفاده نمیکرد و تحلیلش این بود که شعار «رضاشاه روحت شاد» یک شعار انحرافی است که از داخل رژیم بیرون آمده تا نظامیهایی مثل محسن رضایی یا باقر قالیباف را بین مردم محبوب کند.
حالا همان مصداقی، یکی از سرسختترین مدافعان «شاهزاده» شده و ادعا میکند پویا بختیاری «برای شاهزاده جانش را فدا کرد» و به پدر پویا (منوچهر بختیاری) حمله میکند که «به خون پسرت خیانت میکنی!»
اما در ویدئوی منتشرشده از خود پویا، هیچ شعار «جانم فدای شاهزاده» شنیده نمیشود. جمله ماندگار او این بود: «من هم پسر کسی هستم» — آمدهام جانم را به خطر انداختهام، مادرها و پدرها، شما هم بگویید بچههایتان بیایند بیرون.
دقت کردید هر کس کوچکترین انتقادی به این «تیم» داشته، بلافاصله بایکوت و حذف شده. اما مصداقی که حملات تند و تیزی به آنها کرده بود، نه تنها بخشیده شد، بلکه پست و جایگاه هم گرفت. دلیلش روشن است: «تیم» به یک چماقدار مجازی کارکشته احتیاج داشت که مخالفان را بترساند.

ایرج مصداقی از اعضای ریبرند کردهی مجاهدین خلق و عضو «کمیته تدوین مقررات عدالت انتقالی» در حرکتی خلخالیوار و با خشم و فریاد به ترور شخصیتی و اعتبارزدایی از منوچهر بختیاری و پیامش پرداخت. با امثال مصداقی و خشم و عقدهای که از تصویر و صدایش فوران میکند، تنها میتوان به بازتولید قبرستان خاوران و مدرسه رفاه کمک کرد نه استیفای حقوق ملت و زدودن ظلم از ساختار قضایی!
