Why are devs so 'pro-AI' while artists are so 'anti'? 🗣️ It feels like coders are leaning into the tech to work faster, but creators are genuinely angry and frustrated by it. Is the difference just that programmers are used to constant change, or is the impact on their jobs just fundamentally different? Would love to hear some insights on why these two groups are reacting so differently!

@imaginecurve I've been stuck on a "Couldn't verify you, contact support" brick wall for weeks. Nobody from support ever reached back. I've gone through verification with my passport via the app. I have excellent credit, a mortgage, etc.

@joshmanders @catalinmpit It does not have a browser per se. Some apps use an embedded browser to display content, but you can't really use it for anything. You wouldn't be able to justify it to the taxman in a million years.

@catalinmpit Unless your business activity involves gaming, you can't. An XBOX Series X however... you can put it in developer mode, so if you're a software engineer you can use it for game development.

If you have taken over $10,000 USD in payments from studios we compete with in the last 12 months and you don’t disclose that in any “review” you create about our game, then you and I will have legal problems. You aren’t an “independent journalist” you are a paid contractor for our competitor, and I’m tired of watching you all get paid off to do hit pieces on games that don’t fork cash over to you. I will post more warnings clarifying this as we get closer to the release date… but TL:DR if you’re just going to post fake content attacking games that don’t pay you off, then quite frankly I don’t want you covering our game at all. SO MUCH NEW SHIT TO TALK ABOUT: First of all, this is the very first game to utilize the brand new "hybrid" vertex submission mechanism we just added to KallistiOS. It was a long, cruel week to get all of the issues there sorted out, but they have been, and it has further boosted the game's performance while under load and is now something the rest of the DC community can utilize in their homebrew. This scene in particular used to lag using the traditional, DMA-based vertex submission mechanism with all of the lights and its higher geometric complexity, but notice it's not even dropping a frame now! Next, support for the Dreamcast's MOUSE and KEYBOARD have been added. These controls play EXTREMELY well and feel like a very smooth, natural way to play the game, if you want the Steam/PC control scheme. Finally... if there is any doubt as to whether the Dreamcast version is actually the definitive way to the play the game, jnmartin now allows you to export the assets from the (LEGALLY PURCHASED, DAMNIT!!!) Steam version, and import them into the Dreamcast version, where you can enjoy the extra bonus levels and campaign with the new and improved graphics! THIS IS NOW PUBLICLY AVAILABLE! West Dulwich LTN: Lancaster Road on Monday 23rd Sept 2024 at 16:45 backed up from West Norwood. Have never seen this amount of traffic in all the time I have lived in this area and walked along this road. Drivers getting restless and tooting at the lights in West Norwood. Lancaster and Rosendale are certainly taking the brunt of the traffic changes.
