@exisbread I feel that. It's the same deal with my people as well. Regulars know the regulars and we all hang in the vc's and shit. Growth is cool but it doesn't mean much if there isn't real connections being made with them, and/or whether they click with the rest of the people as well

@NackToothyVK yeah, it’s definitely most comfortable with the people who are big members of my community since we can kinda talk to chat together since they know all of the regulars too. but i’m also definitely holding myself back growth-wise not doing ones with new ones though

i haven't been able to collab for a few months anyway due to work but this is kind of why i stopped planning as many before that. i try to be very interactive with my viewers and read every chat, but when i'm in a collab i can't realistically do that between having to interrupt the others in order to do so + not being able to pause the game to catch up on chat like i otherwise do. shared chat helps but only so much. they can be super fun, and i definitely want to do one maybe once a month once work calms down but I do usually feel really bad about having to ignore the chat so much during them. it's also kind of tough to manage the energy sometimes too if you aren't super comfortable with everyone there yet. having any dead space on a stream is not good, so there is an instinct to fill it and keep things moving but that also makes it harder for more quiet/shy people to be able to jump into the convo. so i feel bad if i'm talking a lot, but at the same time it's important for me that the viewers are entertained and not just sitting there in silence awkwardly too.
