The FDA’s Duloxetine Recall: Implications for Mental Health and Chronic Pain Patients Thousands of bottles of Duloxetine Delayed-Release Capsules have been recalled across the U.S. after levels of N-nitroso-duloxetine, a potentially cancer-causing nitrosamine, were found to exceed safety limits set by the FDA. Duloxetine, a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), is commonly prescribed for a variety of mental health conditions, including major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder, as well as for treating chronic pain associated with fibromyalgia and diabetic neuropathy. Due to the nature of these conditions, consistent and accurate dosing is crucial for patients’ mental and physical health, making the recall a significant concern. @healingfromlc Today, I have found that Valarian Root (in the liquid extract form...no alcohol) helps to reduce the neurological part of the pain. When it wears off, the pain comes back, but when you are in desperate need of relief, it helps to give you a moment to breathe.

I’m very close to passing out from the pain.

@healingfromlc I also live in horrible pain; and have begged the doctors to help me terminate my life when I was in college. For me, morphine did not work at all. Low dose Fentanyl patches is the only thing that took the sharpness away (but it didn't take the pain away completely).
