The collision involving an Air Canada Express aircraft last night in New York that claimed the lives of the pilot and co-pilot, and injured dozens more, is deeply saddening. Canadian officials are working closely with their U.S. counterparts on the ground as the investigation continues. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all those impacted.

I wish to see Iran in this security pact. Secure entire Middle East and surrounding region from any future aggression and interference. Collaborate economically, share intelligence, technology, knowledge, raise a joint military based on core humanity and self defence principles NOT on lines of NATO, which is basically an exploitation army with no moral compass. Shia clerics are using threatening language against the Pakistani military. They are warning the Pakistani armed forces with consequences if they decided to honour their security agreement with Saudi Arabia. These Shia clerics never reacted like this before for another country.

I am Muslim and I refuse to be relegated below that pedestal. I agree one hundred percent that Shia scholars come across as more learned and stable. It seems they are better equipped with knowledge and research to deal with life in current times. Sunni scholars on the other hand seemed to be hell bent no to do research and find solutions to the problems and opportunities youth is faced in current times. Just watch out for fasadi and jahil mullahs on both sides.

While my parents were Sunni, and I am only a Muslim (above Shia Sunni Divide) - yet, I find it difficult to ignore that Shia scholars of Pakistan sound more intelligent and better educated than their Sunni counterparts. I don’t know why it’s so? Are their institutions different or what? But when they speak the level of education and intellect reflects.. similarly in the last few days, as Israel assassinated scores of Iranian leaders, we got to read their profiles, in New York Times, and many of them were PhD scholars and had written books on contemporary issues trying to build bridges of understanding with the wider world. At the same time as their wives and mothers mourned them we got a glimpse of their houses and unlike Arab and Pakistani leaders, these Iranians were from humble middle classes. Ironically, Americans & Israelis (claiming to be on the side of Muslim masses) are killing the wrong leaders..
