Came to crypto for the price action. Stayed for the tech and its transformational potential. But I also saw how much of the space rewards extraction over creation. So I started writing to highlight the builders. I explore crypto products, adoption, and where blockchain actually creates value. I collaborate with Web3 teams on research and writing. Today is my last day at the Coin Bureau (@coinbureau). I'm proud to have helped it grow from a start up to a successful small business over the last 6 years, working mostly behind the scenes to create the highest quality educational crypto content in the world for millions of viewers and hundreds of thousands of readers. I'm thankful to have been given the opportunity to not just help shape a corner of the crypto industry, but to grow my knowledge and sharpen my skills. It has been a truly wild ride, and I'm looking forward to what the future holds!

I think we are now at a stage where almost everyone can tell what is written by ChatGPT. People who experienced more LLM diversity are also able to tell exactly if it’s written by ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Grok. Get back to writing your own original, imperfect, photo/emo free pieces. These are the true differentiator.

Creators need more control over how they earn. Period. Wink is building for that future on Solana. Time to ship.
Leon.sol@leon_only1

The silence is over. I’ve been quiet on social. Not because the mission behind Wink got smaller, but because the work got bigger. And it’s time to get loud again. I started Wink, aka 'OnlyFans on Solana' over 4 years ago because I believed creators deserved better monetization rails and I still believe that even more today. Built on Solana, Wink exists to solve a real problem through web3, not just participate in another short-term hype cycle. The internet made it possible for creators to earn from anywhere. But the moment real money starts moving, too many creators are still forced back into legacy systems that can freeze payouts, abuse chargebacks, impose arbitrary restrictions, or shut people out entirely based on someone else’s idea of what should or shouldn’t be allowed. That is not a free creator economy. And while I’ve been quiet publicly, the business has not been standing still. Creators on Wink have already earned over $4M collectively. That’s not theory. That’s not a pitch deck. That’s real usage, real demand, and a real signal that this problem matters. I built Wink because I believe creators deserve faster, more resilient, internet-native monetization rails like Solana that don’t leave their livelihoods at the mercy of outdated institutions. Crypto should improve broken systems, not just speculate around them. We’re still early. We still have a lot to build. But the direction is clear. The creator economy needs better infrastructure, and Wink is here to help build it. This next chapter is about more visibility, more momentum, and a lot more storytelling around what we’re creating. Starting with referral links with profit sharing. It’s already live internally. No more announcements of announcements. We’ll ship, then announce the launch with our creator partners soon. If you’re a creator, a user, or someone who believes the internet should give people more control over how they earn — pay attention. We’re just getting started.

If you're confused about what happened in Hormuz, I've got you: Yesterday morning, Iran's FM Araghchi announced the Strait was "completely open" to all commercial vessels. Trump thanked Iran for reopening it minutes later. Then said Iran and the U.S. were working together to clear mines from the strait. Then claimed Iran agreed to never close the strait again and to suspend its nuclear program indefinitely. By evening, Iran's parliament speaker said Trump had made 7 claims in one hour. All 7 were false. The strait is now closed again and vessels are being struck. What really happened behind the scenes? That’s between God and the people involved 🤷 Source: @KobeissiLetter

🇻🇪🇺🇸 María Corina Machado gave her Nobel Prize to Trump and she'd do it again. "There is a leader in the world who has put the lives of his country's citizens at risk for the freedom of Venezuela, and that is Trump." The Venezuelan opposition has watched every other world leader look away.

Saw some people panicking or asking about quantum computing's impact on crypto. At a high level, all crypto has to do is to upgrade to Quantum-Resistant (Post-Quantum) Algorithms. So, no need to panic. 😂 In practice, there are some execution considerations. It's hard to organize upgrades in a decentralized world. There will likely be many debates on which algorithm(s) to use, resulting in some forks. And some dead project may not upgrade at all. Might be a good to cleanse out those projects anyway. New code may introduce other bugs or security issues in the short term. People who self custody will have to migrate their coins to new wallets. This brings to the question of Satoshi's bitcoins. If those coins move, then it means he/she is still around, which is interesting to know. If they don't move (in a certain period of time), it might be better to lock (or effectively burn) those addresses so that they don't go to the first hacker who cracks it. There is also the difficulty of identifying all his addresses, and not confuse with some old hodlers. Anyway, it's a different topic for later. Fundamentally: It's always easier to encrypt than decrypt. More computing power is always good. Crypto will stay, post quantum.

Fee's generated by projects for year to date 2026: Tron has generated the highest revenue outside of stablecoins issuers. Yet we barely hear about it compared to $ETH and $SOL. Ever wondered why? $TRX @trondao

One of the most interesting crypto use cases today: It is said a technology is truly successful when people use it without even knowing. In parts of Asia, apps built on @NEARProtocol are used for shopping coupons and discounts. But why use a blockchain for this? Brands fund discounts to attract users. Instead of issuing coupons through centralized systems, these apps issue them on-chain. This allows: - Transparent distribution (no fake or duplicate coupons) - Easy tracking across apps - Lower backend costs - Interoperability between merchants Users just tap and redeem. That’s how adoption happens. #Cryptoadoption #Cryptousecase

A full tank of gas costs 97 CAD. Here's the evolution of gas prices over the last decade. War or no war, FIAT is losing value. Hope you are building assests.
