To be clear, I still think the war is over
I’m just more worried now than I’ve ever been since the ceasefire, as Iran’s demands and rhetoric escalate
They know they have strong leverage, they know Trump wants out, and they’re pushing their luck more than I expected in trying to get as many concessions as possible
Behind the scenes negotiations are ongoing, and better than what we see publicly; but they’re not looking as hopeful as they did in the beginning
But I still think a return to war is still well below 50% likelihood

My prediction: if the US follows Israel into an all-out war with Iran, Hezbollah, Iraqi militias and other proxies, not only will the world fall into economic depression like we've never witnessed in our lifetime, this war will end American presence in the middle east for good

As of now, the US 🇺🇸 - Iran 🇮🇷 ceasefire is set to expire on April 22.
Israel 🇮🇱 and Lebanon 🇱🇧 just agreed to a 10-day ceasefire beginning April 17.
If the US-Iran ceasefire is not extended, it'll be interesting to see whether Hezbollah resumes fire between the 22nd and 27th.
