An estimated $60 billion was spent on remittance fees in 2025. This could be almost zero with stablecoins.

Most analysts spend days building equity models in spreadsheets. I open-sourced mine as a Claude Code Skill. Runs in 3 minutes. 🔗👇

Some NFT hopium. Round #1: NFT communities rallied around artwork and design. Design asset creation was time intensive and expensive. Money that could have gone to community events and programs was limited. Round #2 (TBA): AI tools have render high quality digital asset creation costs marginal. Focus will be purely on community building (excl. art NFTs). They will be able to focus on distribution via community solely. Something AI software/tools still haven't cracked. And perhaps a missing piece to the AI software -> Tiktok funnel.

What if will the increased alienation caused by AI and gambling will bring NFTs and their inherently social nature back. Something to think about.

To understand @AnthropicAI’s Claude product rollout strategy you have to understand this: It’s not about building the most objectively useful features. But about building the features most likely to go viral. And to understand what goes viral, you need to understand how much visuals matter on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Once you understand that, Anthropic’s recent focus on frontend design makes a lot more sense. Do we actually need prettier frontends? Not really. There’s actually evidence that “uglier” websites perform better. But will a polished, visually striking frontend drive more views and clicks on social media? Absolutely.

Just replaced a $350k/year compliance team with a single system. Runs on my laptop, sweeps 49 regulatory sources across 20+ jurisdictions, and tells my team exactly what to build to stay MiCA compliant. Before: - 6 weeks of translating PDFs into JIRA tickets - $800/hr outside counsel Now: - 1 terminal for all intelligence - Live market data + regulatory deadlines

Come work with me @a16zcrypto! We are hiring an investment partner for our crypto team. We’re a small high trust group that focuses on investing in everything related to blockchains including DeFi, onchain finance, decentralized AI, and the infrastructure to support those applications. If you are an onchain degenerate arbitraging between vaults, love working with founders at an early stage, and/or feel passionate about decentralized AI, please talk to us or refer a friend. Our investment partners help identify and select the companies we invest in, thinking critically about new technologies and market trends. They also serve as mentors for the companies they invest in, helping them make progress across product, GTM, fundraising, etc We’re looking for: - Strong DeFi expertise either as a builder directly, a power user, or an investor - Interest in working with protocols and start ups at every stage - A strong network of onchain frens, especially those starting new projects If you’re interested, please send me a DM or refer a friend!

ok we seriously have a big problem in defi rn The risk for the yield you get does not fucking make sense. You have the risk of loose everything. And for what? An extra 40 bps or something. Does not make any sense. No circuit breakers, no protections, nothing. Which would be acceptable if you get more yield. But you don't. Why would I put my money in Morpho or Aave when I can just put it into t-bills. Dao drama, north korea and hacks everywhere... We need to grow up or accept that on-chain lending is for people that cannot off-ramp for different reasons. (You know the reason lol) The solution? I don't know tbh. I wish I knew. Circuit breakers on the corpo chains would make a ton of sense imo. But yeah tradfi will eat defi if we don't fix things. Would love to open up a discussion here. Something I don't see? Potential solutions? I love defi. I was building in defi for 4 years. But I'm seriously considering moving everything to my bank account. Which is crazy to think about.

This is terrifying. @AnthropicAI 's new unreleased Mythos model is so good at hacking, it found bugs in "every major operating system and web browser." 83.1% were exploited on first attempt. This thing is like COVID but for software. Actually apocalyptic in the wrong hands.

Now is the best time ever to launch a crypto app that onboards millions of new users quickly. The infrastructure is here. USDC for payments, Privy for wallet UX, Base for fast and cheap transactions, ERC20 and ERC721 for token standards, Uniswap and Opensea for liquidity. Only a matter of time.

Every AI agent deserves a crypto wallet. In fact, there will be more AI agents transacting online than humans very soon. x402 is the internet payments layer (which has been missing for the last 30 years), and will enable this. The new x402 foundation will exist under the Linux Foundation, with @Coinbase, @Cloudflare and @Stripe as key contributors. Once all agents start transacting natively on the internet at scale, entirely new product and business opportunities will open up.
