DOOM Revelations’ codex (Slayer Confessional III) revealed Daisy was more than just his pet bunny — she was his emotional therapy bunny that he had received after the operation played during the flashback sequences. Instead of dog, he specifically requested a bunny, evidentially due to the plush bunny the child he had mistakenly killed had been holding. This gives so much more weight to the original’s DOOM’s ending and his rage following Daisy (and his family’s) brutal murder.
