I feel sorry for Otago students paying fees for Assoc Prof Anaru Eketone. The Regulatory Standards Bill does not limit Parliamentary sovereignty. It requires the Executive to better inform Parliament (this is in the purpose statement of the Bill). Yet, Eketone says the Bill would limit Parliamentary sovereignty. @Bridgetpee One of the things missing in reporting too is it’s actually not as helpful as it would seem. Up to 20 business day processing, pays out 3 months. You can only apply every 3 months. Meaning the 3 months has to stretch 4 (if you’re approved and things don’t get better)
