Thread 🧵 This is our first government-subsidized partnership cohort. 🦋 When I immigrated to the US with $600 back in June 2013, I was terrified by the uncertainty ahead. I didn't know if I'd be able to make it. Emotions of embarrassment and shame filled my heart—it was hard.
