People don't realize how absurd this view actually is. A camera. On a robot. On Mars. Built by humans on a planet 140 million miles away, launched on a rocket, landed using a sky crane, and now driving across an alien desert taking pictures so detailed you can count the rocks. 100 years ago, your great-grandparents thought airplanes were a miracle. You are scrolling past Mars on your phone.

@Wayne81573 Of course you can! Toronto happens to be the AI hub for much of the world. If you look at where a lot of great LLM and AI research happened, it is Toronto. On top of that Waterloo and Queen’s are excellent schools for what we do. The density of talent is very high.

In 2023, an anonymous tipster told CBC News they knew the name of the police officer who killed Ejaz Choudry. It was almost impossible to confirm - until now. These are the officers who were involved. And for one, it wasn't his first fatal encounter: cbc.ca/news/canada/to…

It's a minor thing, but I can't help but be a little sad. Annie bought me this the year before #movingtoCanada. I haven't taken it off since. Today, however, the chain broke. I've had that little maple leaf with me everywhere I've been here. I'll feel much better when it's fixed.

Last night in Toronto I saw the play ROGERS VS ROGERS by Michael Healey. Brilliant. It's one of those creations that makes me think I should give up playwrighting. The play could almost double as a band office election.

I was wrong, the entire event was a fundraiser for a third-party charity. My kid and family wasted our time and funds - sure it was fun, but the kids are always devalued when their labour is sold for peanuts - and not a dollar went to our community. Fundraising is 💩
