What has happened to towns who did nothing to deserve it, like little Piddington village, will happen to all of Britain, unless there is fundamental political change.
It’s not right. Not right at all.

What have they done to have their lives and expectations changed like this ?

SAD 🤦♂️💔💔💔
A Congolese woman had to destroy her shop and equipments after angry South African xenophobic mob forced to take over her saloon .
This woman spent over $20k to set up this saloon , begged them to give her just $6k and they said they have just $200 for a modern saloon .
$200? That’s wickedness . The woman had to destroy the equipments and everything and leave .
Moral lesson : The South African government sees this and stays quiet ?

@oye_samia I made plenty paper boat and fly in rain when I was little.

Just me, a paper boat, and a friendly giant.🐝
**PROMPT**
Use the uploaded image as the ONLY strict identity reference for the person. Preserve their exact recognizable face, facial features, skin tone, hairstyle, age, and natural body proportions. Do not beautify, retouch, stylize, or alter their identity.
Create an ultra-realistic cinematic macro photograph in vertical 9:16 format. The person is genuinely miniature, only about 10–15 centimeters tall, travelling across a vast summer puddle formed after warm rain.
The person sits naturally inside a folded white paper boat that is large enough to carry their miniature body. The boat floats across the puddle like a small vessel on a wide lake. The person holds the edge of the boat lightly with one hand while looking toward an enormous dragonfly hovering nearby. Keep the seated body and recognizable face clearly visible in a natural three-quarter view.
The person wears loose blue denim shorts and an oversized stylish T-shirt. The lower edges of the clothing and hair are slightly damp, with realistic darkened fabric, natural folds, visible cotton and denim textures, and fine water droplets.
Show the paper boat with physically accurate folds, slightly softened wet edges, subtle wrinkles, realistic contact with the water, and a small wake behind it. The paper must remain intact and hold its shape without looking like plastic. There are no drawings, text, or printed elements on its surface.
A gigantic realistic dragonfly hovers just above the water beside the boat. It is larger than the miniature person, with a slender detailed body, large reflective eyes, delicate legs, and translucent veined wings catching the sunlight. The wings show subtle natural motion blur, while the insect remains clearly recognizable and completely photorealistic.
IMPORTANT SCALE RULE: the person must look extremely small compared with the puddle, grass, raindrops, and dragonfly. Towering blades of wet grass rise around the water like reeds, while dew drops appear almost as large as the person’s head. Do not depict a normal-sized person in an ordinary toy boat.
Use a cinematic water-level macro camera angle positioned slightly in front and to the side of the moving boat. Show the paper vessel travelling toward the camera while the hovering dragonfly remains visible beside it. Gentle ripples, reflections, and a narrow wake emphasize realistic movement.
Use deep golden-hour lighting after rain. Warm sunset sunlight shines from the side and behind, creating glowing edges around the person, sparkling dew drops, luminous dragonfly wings, golden reflections on the puddle, delicate volumetric rays, and subtle lens flare. The sky and warm clouds are reflected naturally in the water.
Only the person, paper boat, and nearby dragonfly are sharply focused in the middle ground. Place enormous wet grass blades, water droplets, moss, and the edge of the puddle very close to the camera, heavily blurred into soft foreground bokeh. Render the distant grass, reflected sky, garden vegetation, and sunset highlights as creamy green-and-golden background bokeh. Strong depth separation, cinematic shallow depth of field, realistic water physics, physically believable miniature scale, maximum photorealism.
No text or drawings on the boat, logos, extra people, altered identity, distorted face, extra limbs, unnatural hands or feet, duplicate body parts, normal-sized person, tiny puddle, plastic paper, sinking boat, cartoon dragonfly, frozen wings, artificial water, flat lighting, excessive darkness, or AI artifacts.

Not people starring at me like goat when I'm walking with my babe.
Collins🦋@collinstimbela_
When did it become normal, when walking on a pavement in a pair, to NOT give way to a pedestrian coming towards you? Single file for a few seconds seems impossible for some. I’m fed up with stepping aside to let pairs go past, so from today, I’m standing my ground! Who’s with me?
English

@collinstimbela_ Some people seem to think walking in pairs comes with diplomatic immunity.

@Ruky_Baby27 That 13 years flew very fast. She talk say she don give her life to christ.

"Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar is back outside, looking better than ever.
She sat for an interview with Channels TV.
Halima said she went through a lot during her 13 years battle with a mysterious illness, including a brain tumor.
She said she received little support from colleagues. Only about 5 or 6 people checked on her.
The rest ran away and didn’t reply to her messages.
During that time she went through surgeries, public appeals for help online, and severe financial hardship.
At the same time, she was also caring for her mother’s health.
If I recall correctly, the videos she put out then came with lawsuits, and criticisms mostly from religious folks.
She said she was called “whuukup girl” and “Jezebel,” (that's true). People also claimed she was dealing with karma.
Upon that, she was suspended by the actor's guild in 2024 for what the guild termed defaming her colleagues and prominent Nigerians.
According to her, “They called me back when I was almost gone.”
She gave all glory to God for restoring her health.
What's next for her?
She said she already has a movie out, which premiered in Canada.
Plus, a web series, and a book set to be released.
Currently, she's touring states sharing her testimony and plans to take it to Europe.
I'm not gonna lie, I like Halima.
Thank God for giving her a second chance at life.
Although she started her acting career in 2001 with the movie 'Rejected', she reached her career peak in the 2010s. 'Loyal Enemies' where she played a housekeeper was a popular movie that year.
Before the industry distanced itself from her, she was wildly praised for her beauty, talent, and eloquence (emphasis on eloquence). Yes, Halima was so articulate.
Even when she had the premiere for her own movie 'Blo0d Battle' back in 2018, the turnout was massive.
It would be great to see her return to the height of her career"
