@QuakerNana You might have some swelling. My surgeon noticed that in my eye and prescribed prednisone drops for a couple of weeks. It helped. Also, your eyes might be dry. Go back to using lubricating eye drops too. I find that now (about a month after surgery 2, my eyes get tired easily.

Cataract surgery. Have any of you had something go awry after cataract surgery? My eye has felt minor pressure. No big deal. But for a few days I have noticed I can “feel”my eye. The eye that was operated on. Now I have blurred vision. Thoughts? Before operation on my other eye

@ClaireBines1 Veterinary acupuncture really helped my past hounds’ arthritis. Ask your vet for a recommendation. It’s really pretty amazing. It’s hard watching our sweet dogs get old!

@NaniWrites Oh. All Stan's floofs are silky to the touch. Have fond memories of dear Luka, a Stateside silken windhound who sadly left toxic X, but I think there are a tiny number of the breed in the UK.

🌈🌈 It’s a sad day here at Galgos del Sol as we had to send Tom over the rainbow bridge. Our big gentle giant who we so desperately wanted to save had to move onto the next step of his spiritual journey. He was a big softy bear who we first saw in another shelter struggling. I couldn’t stop thinking about him and went back to get him. He was loved there but he needed more medical care. He had compression of the spine which was causing nerve damage and much pain. Despite being with the best Nuero vet at GDS there was nothing that could be done except manage the pain. We decided to give him the best months possible. He’s had great food, bones, cuddles, high fives, blankets and so much love. He loved a peanut butter licky mat. He never complained despite struggling and always wagged his tail when he saw you. This made it so hard to let him go because whilst his body was ready, his mind was not. He never held a single grudge despite the cards he was dealt thru life, imagine if we were all as forgiving and as positive as Tom. What a wonderful world it could be. Fly high Tom, feel free to watch over us from wherever you are because we are going to need your support, we need to feel your big bear hugs & your love. If your wings ever get tired just take a break and remember how much we love you. Everyone loved you. Go now Tom and find your way. We hope to hug you again one day 🌈♥️😞 RIP 🌈 miss you x
