@thekaipullai I’ve always felt their issues stem from their mindset, not just their actions or methods. Until that underlying attitude changes, real change won’t happen.

Bhavish Agarwal till date has raised about Rs 54,000 cr ($6 Billion) for all his businesses, ranging from AI to Second Hand cars. To put this in perspective this is what Rs 54,000 cr does for you 1. The total cost of installing the Mk3 Water pump, that greatly alleviated India's water problem - Cost Rs 50,000 Cr 2. Our Entire Rafale deal, was about Rs 58,000 cr 3. The entire first 83 jet order for Tejas, was Rs 50,000 cr 4. ISRO's annual budget, is Rs 18,000 Cr. 33% of what Bhavish raised. 5. The total earnings of Hindi Movie industry, from 2021-2025, was Rs 21,000 cr. Less than 50% of what Bhavish has raised. 6. With Rs 54,000 cr, you can setup 11 Lakh Idli / Dosa outlets 27 lakh Vada pav stalls 36 Lakh Bhel puri stalls With the amount of money he has raised, one could have Setup up a functioning Air Force with advanced Fighter jet Funded ISRO for three years Supplied all the Villages in the country with Bhel Puri or Idli He raised more money than what India's biggest movie industry in 5 years. With Rs 54,000 cr you can do anything. But somehow, Bhavish Agarwal has not been able to setup a functioning, profitable, stable business with that money.

Overall, it’s a commendable effort by the @Dir_SivakumarM . The storytelling, especially with the way different songs were woven into the narrative, kept it engaging throughout. Definitely a very good watch.

I liked how the mother’s character was portrayed: she worked hard, raised her children, ensured her daughter learn to live independent, lived simply and saved wisely, and most importantly, made time to keep herself happy, like going out every week and enjoying life.

I really wish this scene hadn’t been deleted. It beautifully captures a son’s nostalgic reflection on all the struggles his mother went through while raising them. #ThaaiKizhavi 🧵👇🏼

Major operators like #HDFC often have customer care executives who mostly speak #Hindi Even after informing that we don’t know Hindi, the conversation often continues in Hindi. Improved multilingual support would really help customers across regions. Wish they understand 🙏🏼

It’s baffling how Coimbatore continues to be ignored in major railway projects. It is arguably India’s fastest-growing Tier-2 city, a major industrial, textile, IT, and education hub with massive passenger demand. A Chennai – Bengaluru – Coimbatore – Kochi – Thiruvananthapuram high-speed rail corridor is the need of the hour to connect South India’s fastest-growing economic hubs. #HSRforCBE

Digital OOH Screens Out-of-Home screens are electronic display panels used for advertising and information in public spaces. Examples are LED screens at apartments, malls, airports, metro stations, and bus stops. These screens display dynamic ads, videos, and real-time content, and are controlled remotely using software. DOOH screens are a modern alternative to printed posters and can update messages instantly for targeted communication.

@UpdatesChennai Metro is essential, but even before that, roads must be widened and traffic flow improved. Else, the city may soon resemble Bengaluru. Strong suburban train connectivity to Pollachi, Tirupur, Palakkad etc., is needed - metro alone won’t suffice to fully realise its potential.

Why many children today feel bored, struggle to concentrate, lack patience, get easily frustrated, and have no real friends Children are facing increasing challenges in many areas. There is a noticeable decline in their social, emotional, and academic development, along with a sharp rise in learning difficulties, depression, and aggressive behavior. Many children arrive at school emotionally unprepared to learn. Several aspects of modern life contribute to this situation. 1. Technology It often acts as a “free babysitter.” Compared to the fast-paced virtual world, real life feels dull. In classrooms, children are exposed to human voices and limited visual stimulation, unlike the constant explosions and special effects on screens. After long hours of screen time, they struggle to process lower levels of stimulation. Excessive technology use also reduces parents’ emotional availability. Technology use should be limited. Families should spend quality time together—go on picnics, take walks, go trekking, or spend time outdoors. 2. Instant gratification Children often get what they want immediately. “I’m hungry” leads to instant snacks. “I’m thirsty” results in sugary drinks. “I’m bored” means a phone or television. The ability to delay gratification is a key predictor of future success. While parents try to keep children happy in the moment, this often leads to long-term difficulties. Delaying gratification helps children cope with stress. Without it, they become less able to handle even small frustrations, which later turn into major obstacles. Children should be taught to wait and not have their demands met instantly unless it is truly urgent. 3. Children controlling decisions “My child doesn’t like vegetables.” “He doesn’t like going to bed early.” “She skips breakfast.” “He doesn’t like toys but is great with an iPad.” When children dictate choices, they naturally gravitate toward unhealthy food, excessive screen time, and irregular sleep. Parents often give children what they want, even when it is not good for them. Poor nutrition and lack of sleep leave children irritable, anxious, and unfocused at school. Achieving goals requires doing what is necessary, not just what is enjoyable. To be an excellent student, a child needs consistent study. To excel in sports, daily practice is required. Children often know what they want, but not what is required to reach those goals, leading to disappointment. They must learn the difference between wants and needs. 4. A world focused only on fun Children’s lives are filled with constant entertainment and activities. The moment things slow down, adults rush to entertain them, believing this is good parenting. As a result, children rarely help with chores like cooking, laundry, or cleaning—tasks that may seem boring but are essential for developing focus and resilience. Children should learn to handle routine tasks such as folding clothes, setting the table, cleaning up after meals, and organizing their belongings. They also need unstructured time with clear boundaries and schedules for meals, sleep, study, outdoor play, and technology use. 5. Limited social interaction In the past, children played outdoors in unstructured environments where they naturally learned social skills. Today, outdoor play has been replaced by tuition, structured activities, and technology. Strong social skills are essential for success and must be learned and practiced. Children need guidance in manners, cooperation, teamwork, and communication. We are responsible for shaping the next generation into healthy, happy, and successful individuals.
