@just_mindy It’s rude to host your own baby shower OR any of your relatives, including relatives by marriage. Only a friend can because the point is to collect gifts for the guest of honor.

Here are some rules of etiquette I have seen young women break recently: 1. your bridal or baby shower should not be hosted by yourself or your mother. It can be hosted by your sister, a cousin, a friend or a group of people. It is considered rude for you or your mother to host your own bridal or baby shower.

Very dumb question: If you don’t have insurance on a multimillion dollar house and that house burns down. You do have to pay the rest of your mortgage correct? You would just hope your land is ok and build another home on it. Or sell the land to pay what you owe?

The thing I've been waiting for since last Thursday is the results of a CT scan to check a wonky lesion in my kidney. Late this afternoon I got a good report. No tumor, probable cyst. So it appears I'll be back in full form and can stop my fretting. #3Cheers
