@JackiePhamotse It all started when Adv Malesela Teffo couldn't articulate himself properly in court. It's a very dangerous generalization.

The new Chief Justice holds: -A Diploma in Women’s Law -A Diploma in Legislative Drafting -A Diploma in Adult Education. -A Certificate in Gender Studies and Development -An honorary Master’s degree in Women and Gender Development. No law degree that's weird 😕

@Enghumbhini @errolbsk Shocking! People are overrated. Former Chief Justice Ncgobo and his panel did not understand that PRECCA does not involve own money. Mubikwa did not lose state funds in the Phalaphala Farm theft.

If a former judge doesn’t know that impeachment of PP is not through some motion in parliament, what hope do we Twitter legal minds have?

South African prisons currently hold about 166,000 inmates in total. • 144,000 are South African citizens 🇿🇦 • 22,000 are foreign nationals 🌍 That means roughly: • 86.7% of inmates are South Africans • 13.3% are foreign nationals Crime in South Africa is clearly not a problem caused by one group alone - it is a much deeper social, economic, policing and governance crisis affecting the entire country.

Just for clarity. A motion of no confidence requires only a simple majority (50+1%) of the National Assembly whereas an impeachment requires 66%!

This is not good for South Africa. It is deeply troubling for fellow African countries to issue advisories urging their citizens to exercise caution when travelling to another African country. It paints a picture of lawlessness, insecurity, and a government that has either lost control of the situation or is aiding and abetting this madness. Such developments damage not only a country’s reputation, but also investor confidence, tourism, and regional trust. Africa cannot build meaningful unity and economic cooperation if African citizens begin to fear travelling within the continent itself.

@sandileskhosi @Enghumbhini Concourt in my view is too sacred and does not require a person who is still representing people. Advocates can act at High court level but Concourt is too sacred. You must be truly free.
