Unpopular opinion: Fortnite should end soon. It had its run, but I don’t see it lasting for 3 more years. They will turn it into a Roblox like platform and will stop caring about BR, which will eventually lead to its downfall, and I’m all for it. Everything has to end someday.

Agreed! Dozens of companies already sell V-Bucks, including Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Google, Amazon and major retailers. An open item shop economy is in our plans for later (not 2026). Resale isn’t planned for the future of Epic’s work such as our outfits or items we create, but resale and independent digital currency economies are welcome on the Epic Games Store (unlike the iOS App Store and Steam) and will of course be welcome in the open metaverse as it evolves. We see all of these things as welcome and appropriate steps as a game or product evolves into an ecosystem and economy as Fortnite is doing now.
