@JohnRadoux Not being difficult and it’s a good question. In my experience and view it’s a more formal and clearer space and if done well can contribute to positive change. But you ‘re right many families will still feel very disempowered and unfairly treated.

@JohnRadoux Yes and no. I would argue that pre proceedings is where the real partnership with families begins as they have legal advocates.

I’m thinking of changing our job descriptions by removing most of the things that are irrelevant. So instead of the “HR” tick box things, I want to include “be kind to people,” “pick up litter” and “if someone needs help, drop everything and help them.” Good idea or not?
