If it happens, we blame poverty, some will blame ignorance, many would mouth 'country is tough' and rain curses on leaders. We are our own enemies. Often, people are roasted scooping fuels from fallen tankers. We never learn from such calamity. We would never never learn!

"For @TonyOElumelu, stepping into Seplat as a major shareholder is a long, deliberate bet on African capability; on ownership; on governance and on the belief that our energy future should increasingly be shaped by those who live and build at home,"said @AdewaleTinubu I agree!

#OPINION: The #AI era holds great promise for #Africa. The question is not whether Africa has the talent to thrive in an AI-driven world, it is what it will take to unleash its full potential. This is how we create significant change, writes Tony Elumelu. arab.news/vkvaz

Western press! Surely, Fox News is propagating a narrative leading to Trump's visiting Nigeria with South Africa treatment. ....... Fears remain this Easter that Christians in Nigeria are being ‘wiped out' by Muslim extremists foxnews.com/world/easter-f…

When I profiled @TonyOElumelu for @forbesafrica in 2012, he’d recently retired (2010, aged 47) as CEO of @UBAGroup, and commenced what he described to me as his “second journey”, i.e. @Heirs_Holdings and @TonyElumeluFDN. A year earlier (2011), HH had acquired a controlling stake in @TranscorpGroup. Market cap of Transcorp Group was around N20 billion Naira at the time. Today, 14 years later, the market cap = $3 Billion (N4.5 Trillion Naira)

The barest minimum for a Kabiesi in Yorubaland is to preserve the gods of his forefathers regardless of the ‘esin ajoji’ he practices. You cannot abolish it. It is not done. It is better you stay off the throne and stick to your religion than discard what your ancestors gladly revered. Ilésanmí dùn joyè lọ.

Viewers Beware! I call on the government of Akwa Ibom to investigate this video that has gone viral. Who is responsible for feeding students in boarding schools. Where are the school authorities! Heavy punishment should be given to those responsible for this heinous crime.

The competitiveness of a league is often measured with numbers of away wins, among other indicators. This season ⁦@NigeriaPFL⁩ has recorded many away wins. 4 away wins! A better reflection of the refereeing & organization. Kudos! ⁦@NPFL_Live⁩ ⁦@NigeriainfoFM
