I stand solidly behind the people of Ukraine who are rightly standing up to Putin following his illegal invasion of their country. However, the Senedd flying their flag is not doing anything to keep Russia at bay. We need to move away from virtue signalling politics. People see through it and rightfully want politicians to go back to focusing on bread-and-butter issues that will positively and noticeably impact the people of Wales, such as health, education, and the Welsh economy. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Tonight I finished my year in office as the Rt Hon The Lord Mayor of Cardiff 2025-2026. It has been a true honour and one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Here is my outgoing speech tonight, following the installation of Cllr Michael Michael as the new Lord Mayor - and I wish him every success.
