@ChildrensHD Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune condition in which the body attacks itself. Educating the public includes knowing symptoms and signs and encouraging research and science funding. There currently is no cure. Your comment is misleading.

Instead of normalizing diabetes for our children, our federal health agencies need to be educating the public on how to PREVENT and REVERSE this chronic disease. Is anyone else repulsed that companies like Mattel are capitalizing on sick children?
