Today my beautiful daughter should be 8 yrs old. Apparently it gets “easier” and time “heals” but it doesn’t. I’m so broken and I miss her so much. I just want to show Harriet off to the world.

@VictoriaK1rk Thank you. It's devastating to know that reluctant feeding policies are open to interpretation and midwives are not fully trained on when to actually implement them. It's such a simple process that could help a baby live. Thus needs to change and NOW......

@NatalieNeedham1 Natalie I have no words. This should never ever happen, not anywhere but certainly nowhere in the modern western world

My son Kouper never fed from being born at 1.44am to when he was discharged at 15.30pm. We begged and begged for someone to help us or look at why he wasn't feeding. But no they told me my son could go 48hrs without feeding before they would interven. He died at around 2.45am..

It was an honour to speak to families in #nottingham last weekend. At the end I said, ‘I want you to know, what happened to you was not your fault’. As I looked around tears streamed down faces. This guilt that families are left to carry is wholly unacceptable. 📸 @BBCNottingham
