@shitscaredmum So sad , it’s been such a hard journey - please be kind to yourselves as you grieve the loss of Laura and also recover from the huge emotional and physical trauma of loving and looking after someone who you dearly love as they suffer and transition from this life 💔

I'm heartbroken to share the news that we lost our beautiful Laura in the early hours of this morning. She was fierce & tenacious to the end & it was truly the honour of my life to be her mum. We are devastated at the thought of life without our girl, she was a force of nature💔

@sacapedu A8 coaches are catalysts to changing the world - one conversation at a time. The quality of the thinking from coaching leads to new behaviours which lead to changed institutions. #CoachingCareer

@robfarndell All corporates I work with and for embrace the "whole person" and no longer separate their employee into the work part who needs to achieve targets versus the home part whose teenage daughter isn't speaking to them. They overlap. #coachingcareer

@sacapedu A7 Know why you are doing what you are doing and sell that - not coaching. Coaching is a means to an end not just an end in itself. So sell leadership development or whatever you believe the coaching will lead to. Heightened self awareness is great but why #coachingcareer

@sacapedu Not sure about traits. Leveraging strengths works better in my experience, and things like no judgment, letting go of being expert, brutal self honesty, etc.

@sacapedu A6 Erik deHaan a leading coach educator and researcher wrote something like I doubt , therefore I coach. Coaches need to not be rigid and bulls in China shops but be open to solutions that they personally may not choose but it is right for client #coachingcareer

@robfarndell A5 Coaches do not need to psychologists but more and more mental health and well being issues surface in work place and coach needs to know how to recognise psychological concerns and refer them - ethical responsibility #coachingcareer

@sacapedu A5 The WHO predicts that mental health issues are going to be our biggest societal health challenge going forward. We have to be skilled when working with people who feel safe to share vulnerabilities . Need Psychology training #coaching career
