A8 - individual coaching / group coaching / team coaching can be useful interventions where traditional training has been exhausted. By definition it is bespoke and therefore deeply impactful. Companies that see this value will allocate training budget #coachingcareer

A7 - (1) be visible to build your profile..attend COMENSA and/or ICF events (2) obtain a coaching qualification that is recognised and respected, (3) start coaching as a side-hustle and then transition when you gain adequate momentum #coachingcareer

A6 - patience, political savvy, deep curiosity, rapport-building, relentless self-development, worldliness, cutural sensitivity, versatility, flexibility, running your coaching practice as a professional #coachingcareer

A5 - corporates who pay for coaching typically want business coaching, not life coaching that they are sponsoring #coachingcareer

A5 - it can certainly be helpful, I don't feel it is essential. Curiosity about other humans and their worldview and also a broad understanding of market conditions and sector-specific challenges can add more value #coachingcareer

A4 - consistent work pipeline (this work can be feast or famine); transitioning from being paid to provide solutions and answers to facilitating the coachee's thinking with impartiality #coachingcareer

#coachingcareer A3 - I agree with Natalie...take the time to understand the context and the broader system...you are not just coaching the individual in isolation

#coachingcareer A3 - listening to understand, not to reply; letting go of the need to know first or know best; unwavering belief in unseen potential; the ability to challenge and have tough conversations; diplomacy; humility; kindness; business acumen

#coachingcareer A2 - specialisations such as career coaching (helping people to find their right career), retirement readiness coaching, wellness coaching, relationship coaching (couples), team coaching (coaching the intact team simulaneously)

#coachingcareer A1 - HR and L&D people are much more familiar with coaching and I am seeing people who are more junior receiving coahcing, not just the execs

#coachingcareer A1 - I am seeing a broader adoption of coaching across almost all industries. Budget is the biggest determinant of coaching rollout
