Be humble. Whenever there is an argument/disagreement, focus less on your partner's faults and more on your own. Ask for forgiveness. You're not always going to get your way, this is a partnership. Sprinkle small surprises when able (do a chore, bring home a flower out of the blue, leave a love note, etc.)
