Also found this interesting. Fewer teams dropped divisions this year and more stayed in their base division. A lot of that comes down to rankings luck but could also be a product of the wins-based qualifications addition. #PDPreps

Compared the 2024 NCS football playoffs teams with 2025 and thought this was interesting data. The wins-based qualification did succeed in getting more D7 teams in but the amount of D1-D3 teams barely dropped. Base D4 and D6 teams both saw the largest decrease. #PDPreps

@JustGusPD Mostly reasonable recs. St Vincent the surprise, but understandable from the committee’s POV. They’re a heckuva team but this kind of forces them into reloading each year or really struggling in the Adobe. Would they even want to paint themselves into that corner?
