@KaitlynSchiess Well, I was raised in The Salvation Army, and was in ministry with them for 15 years. TSA practices zero sacraments. We left for a number of theological reasons, and God lead us to an Episcopal church - which has all the sacraments. “Liturgy of the Ordinary” did it for me.

I think it’s because there are certain ways of approaching faith that gets very nervous around things like ambiguity & nuance. If God didn’t author every word of the Bible with their very own hands, then we have to introduce shaky things like reason & perspective when we read.
