I will be harsh… Today’s cycling is full of riders who just like to travel the world, make good money with it, and absolutely do not care if they win, finish second, or just somewhere in the bunch; at most, they are happy to have good numbers and earn some UCI points. Where is the passion? The winning mentality? The kind of mindset that says: I would rather go all in and lose than never try? Because in the end, isn’t cycling supposed to be about daring to win, not just riding not to lose?

@lucasaganronald He did exactly what he should've done to try and win. If he is the last to death pull Van Der Poel back he is dead and gets nothing, if he gambles and someone helps he comes round and sprints for the victory. I'm staggered at how few understand this, it's not at all difficult.

@SantiGo170771 Sois cortitos. La diferencia es que en el caso de Anthony lo que se hizo fue retirar la tarjeta porque se vio que la tarjeta entrada no era de roja. En el caso de Valverde se ha dejado la tarjeta porque se considera que sí es roja, pero han decidido suavizar la sanción.
