@CharlieBuc36845 @WhiteHouse @POTUS It doesn’t change the amount any of us receive for housing per month. Our BAH budget changes yearly and those numbers are already published for 2026. It may have come out of the same budget framework, but it’s a bonus nonetheless.

I woke up this morning and was SO disappointed in the commentary from the Democrats. Regardless of how they spin it, I want the @WhiteHouse to know that we appreciate the $1,776 bonus. This helps out our military community more than you realize. Thanks for seeing us, @POTUS

You know, guys, I really hesitated to share this story but here goes nothing. Last year, I traveled in wintertime to Geneva. It was a secret trip, which I informed of no one. But today, the seasoned “Swiss journalist” Vadim Bat’kovich Loskutov @Russianmarket4 forced me to tell the truth that the western media is hiding from you…. It was a cold winter day, Geneva was covered in snow, as it usually is, with Lac Leman all iced. I passed the Kempinski Hotel, observing the happy crowds of money launderers and embezzlers, competing at who is better at shot putting Hermès bags. I sensed there were many cultured people, born and bred on Dostoevsky, present when I heard “suka blyad” from one of the contestants. Perhaps even two. I stopped for a second: not only to hear an additional “kak vi menya vse zaebali”, though it was music to my ears, but because warm air was emanating from there. Alas, I couldn’t stay there for too long as a snowstorm started and I had to make my way out before Geneva became one big snow hill. That’s when I saw her. A true genevoise. I could tell at a glance as she had a Bongenie shopping bag by her side. She sat outside, looking at the snow, with her hand stretched out; her black Moncler puffer slowly becoming all white. She looked at me, I looked at her and uttered, “are you alright, Madame?” I realized I made a grave mistake in an instant: it’s blasphemous to address a genevoise in English. “Est-ce que je peux vous aider, Madame?” I quickly corrected myself. She looked at me. I could tell it was an effort for her to reply — chiefly due to the lack of desire of thereof — but then I saw her lips move gradually. “Ma chère, tu peux acheter un Toblerone pour moi? Il y a un Migros à droite,” she mumbled. I nodded and proceeded to the store without further ado. I did not ask for money as I knew that she had better things to spend it on, including throwing all her salary on a Vêtements scarf. When I returned from Migros, she was still there: sitting waiting. I gave her the Toblerone. At first I thought I could hear her say “merci” — but it was simply the wind playing tricks on me. As I observed her munching on the caramel triangle piece of chocolate, I couldn’t help but ask her why is she here? Why is she not going home to spend her time with her loved self? She looked at me almost in despair and I realized what a fool I had been: it was warmer here outside, in a snowstorm, than at her apartment in Grand Saconnex. The last thing I heard her say before she plunged into darkness was: “If only the Russian super power had not cut off the gas supplies”. The Bongenie shopping bag fell to the side; the thick white snow was covering the last bits of the long-frozen Geneva Water Fountain, with echoes of “v rot ya tebya yebal” the only thing suggesting that life was not extinct. *** What will happen this year? One can only fear.
