Feeling a wee bit delicate today. The impromptu gathering last night got a bit hectic My appetite finally woke up, caught a quick chow. Zvinyenze (goat tripe tied with goat intestines) and a zolux(cow trotter) , believed to have back-strengthening properties to boost libido. The goat tripe was done with a twist (excuse the pun). Sisi Ruth , wrapped a bit of the goat liver with the tripe and sunga'd it neatly. The taste was heavenly. A triple play of tripe, intestines and liver all tied into one helluva flavourful bundle. One thing that peed me off though was Sisi Ruth's decision to dish the hoof end of the zondo.(Panotsika) She knows very well my fave bit is the middle bit of the foot.
