@JamieDigitall What did you do to resolve the influx of Display traffic?
English

Please check on pmax if you have them running for lead gen.
This campaign has been running very well, providing high quality leads until Google decided to allocate spend to display placement.
CPC dropped 75% (big warning sign), & conversions dropped off a cliff.

@JamieDigitall Interesting, I think lead quality would be great to check. I've seen poor quality from Pmax for lead gen if you're not not using qualified leads as the conv.

@mr_govindsingh When viewing the broad kw recommendations, you can also click the ellipsis button to set up an experiment without dismissing.
I've run these before and found that industries with general keywords like "movers" can work well, but niche keywords don't. #ppcchat

🚨 New in Google Ads!
When dismissing the "Add broad match keywords" recommendation, Google now suggests running it as an experiment instead.
Looks like Google is pushing more testing! 🤔

🎯 New Google Ads Update?
"Advance Location Search" doesn't pop up with "map" or "pin-locator" now, Replaced with "Add Locations in Bulk"

English

This is BAD! Removing the advanced location settings also got rid of the ability to do radius targeting. I guess #googleads is just trying to force us into broad regional targeting now. #ppcchat

Advanced location settings missing for anybody else? #ppcchat

A2: I was hesitant at first, but I have seen higher conversion rates and more conversions with RSAs. I think they have gotten better since the initial roll out. I do see some ETAs with higher CTR, but conv. are more important. #ppcchat

@MirandaSchirmer @MSFTAdvertising Thank you! I had no idea that option was there.
English

@NathanK_TX @MSFTAdvertising MSFT has made a change that will allow you to import campaigns from Google and NOT post them immediately to Microsoft. It's not something you pick each time - it's under Tools > Options > Defaults
English

@MSFTAdvertising Microsoft (Bing) Ads Editor Grievance: Why is the only option to "import and post" campaigns/updates from Google Ads. Why can't I review the potential changes in Editor first??

@SaltedPecan I spent what was supposed to be a 3 month $3,000 budget in 1 month due to misreading the contract.
English

@NathanK_TX Hey at @NathanK_TX pleasure to meet you. Great call out, I went ahead and reached out to the team so they could adjust. We all make mistakes. Question for you, what is the biggest mistake you have made across platforms? I activated 100K paused campaigns :-(
English

@timothyjjensen It has been around for a while - it was in the old AWE too. It wouldn't let me post changes when i tried to segment and A/B test. Maybe it will let you now? #ppcchat

@davisbaker @JonKagan My 2 cents:
CTR: Gallery ads will have the highest CTR in the ad group because they will only show in 1st overall position
Conv: Gallery ads had lowest conv. rate in small test i ran for 6 weeks. Conv. rates: Gallery ~.5% ETA ~1% Responsive ~1.5%
Frequency: varies by account
English

@JonKagan Our team has been pretty underwhelmed so far. Paging @NathanK_TX
English

@NathanK_TX It would balloon the number of columns, but could be worth getting reports on.
English

A2: While I did rely on avg. pos. for keyword bidding, I understand why it is not a perfect bench mark. How do we optimize around absolute top/top of page? Can we get conv. performance for each one? #ppcchat
English

A1: I'm a little upset about it, if I had the budget and was trying to maximize reach I'd turn on accelerated delivery.
